The school counselor failed to alert us or authorities when my daughter confessed to self harming and suicidal ideation. Instead she spoke of God’s will, no intervention. This led to a failed suicide attempt at the school. The two nurses present decided to not call for medical attention as they had negated what they felt the danger level to be. The principal had no interest in speaking with me until I contacted the superintendent. Then he called upset and hostile about following the chain of command. And still two weeks later had no idea what had happened to my daughter. I withdrew her and am now struggling to have her enrolled elsewhere. This school is disgusting, don’t send your babies here. Your children are not safe in such an environment. My daughter should have been helped all children in this position should be helped!! They can care less and one hand washes the other in this district. They think they are untouchable because of the severe lack of advocacy for families in this area, both educationally and legally. Do yourself a favor run don’t walk!!

I was class of 2001 Great school, teachers, everything is great. The one thing I can think of is bad is school uniforms. it wasn’t the uniforms themselves that part was a great idea but I didn’t like it because I had a lot of new clothes and couldn’t wear any of them because of the uniform policy.

I have a grandson who attends there. He’s a senior this year. He’s a pretty good student as well as a person. He took up auto mechanics and got an interm job at Trotter Ford this summer. He said he was able to do this because the teachers work with you to be a good student.
