Terrible experience!! My sister in law went into the hospital for surgery and was going to be facing some heavy hospital bills. We notified the school within 1 business day that our kids would not be able to attend due to her financial situation (as we were going to pitch in to help her) and they would not refund any of our $200 deposit. We tried to appeal this decision, but the school board still decided to keep our money. I find this pretty inconsiderate and unbelievable since we notified the school 1 business day later from placing the deposit. They didn’t offer to give any of it back. Most schools will just keep 10% the first few days and gradually increase the fee the longer it takes for you to notify them. This is just plain greed. We were also told that this is standard policy “the letter of the law” that they follow. Sounded like complete bogus to me. Just complete lack of empathy and poor customer service!!
