Some families left the school and couple others watched their childern being singled out by some teachers during last years.
One lady she is not even a teacher may be use to target my innocent boy since prep to year six. We survived.
However, the new building is quite terrible(for the grade 5/6s). When you talk everybody else can hear you(keep in mind this is over 100 kids and teachers) so really you can’t talk much. Also, new buildings are popping up everywhere and the outside play spaces are getting smaller and smaller. However, we do get to go to Essendon Cricket Ground during lunch which is nice.
The old vice principle(she has left now thank god) was extremely rude and disrespectful. The teachers are very friendly, and most of the students. Some students(mostly the ones who try to be ‘popular’) are really mean and bully their peers.
Education wise, we learn a lot. We do get the chance to participate in many co curricular activities such as swimming, tournament of minds and the math Olympiad.
The range of learning is also quite atrocious. In our maths class, we learnt trigonometry but in others they were still learning their times tables.
Overall, good, but would wait until the construction of the new buildings are finished.
