My daughters have been attending RHL for 6 years now. We will be coming back this year also. Since parent involvement is encouraged so much, I have spent many hours there as well and have seen the wonderful teachers at work. They invest so much time and care into the students education and character building.
We were with the Primelink program for two of my daughters and the high school diploma program for another one. Being able to have these programs helped me home school my girls has been such a blessing! We unfortunately are having to change to a different RHL program because of my daughters ages and athletics schedule but I’m sure the new program will be just as amazing.
Special thanks to Marlys Smith, Susan Thompson (Best consultants ever!) and Jim Williams Program director. Thanks also to Mrs. Githens and Mrs. Meeks, teachers.
I went to River for my 7th and 8th grade year. I had several different classes. I didn’t necessarily have the best of friends there, but we got along well. I highly recommend this school for anyone who wants to be home-schooled, but still wants the friend aspect to it. I went 2 days a week, and got more homework than a usual school to do for the other 5 days. You can go all 5 days if you really want to, but I wouldn’t suggest it. The only reason why I’m not going next year, is since I want to go for a more “unsheltered” school to get me in the swing for college. And if you do end up going here- tell them that Lexie Leyden sent you. 🙂
