Hands down the best music lessons in town! Jim is an incredible instructor- he makes it fun, but not fluffy. He has taught all three of my kids, from ages 7 to 17, for many years now. They are all totally different learners, and all three respond wonderfully to him. They progress really quickly, and love doing it. Practice time isn’t torture, and they are motivated to work on fun music and are learning theory all at the same time. I am a huge believer in the benefits of music for the brain and the soul- I was an all state clarinet player, and my best friend is an award winning band director. I wasn’t willing to settle for anything less than the best for my kids’ music instruction. I visited all of the music studios in Georgetown and did trial lessons, but Jim won my kids over with the way he connected with them and me with the way he really knew music. As a matter of fact, he won’t tell you this, but other guitar teachers in town actually come to him and pay for lessons when they are struggling with something specific. He’s the best of the best, and I am thrilled we found him! I won’t take my kids anywhere else! And if that isn’t enough, he also offers buy 3 months get one FREE!!!! Can’t beat that! Awesome music, awesome teacher, awesome deal!
Can’t say enough about A Premium Blend, Jim, Kim, Tiffany, Chantel, Emily – everyone! Absolutely fantastic instructors, totally knowledgeable, patient, supportive, amazing. Our daughter can’t wait to return to summer camp this year, the wonderful experience has really stayed with her and continues to give us some great memories. Thanks to A Premium Blend!
What a great place for music lessons for any age. Jim is an amazing musician and an even more amazing instructor. I have been taking mandolin lessons now for about a month. Jim reinforces good technique while providing positive feedback to improve each week.
