I decided to send my child to Abbotsbury 2 days a week and since joining, they can now write letters and they are also starting to try and blend phonics sounds. They come back telling me all sorts of facts that they have learnt from their teacher. Each term to get a folder of all the artwork and any attempts at line making/writing too. I was worried about it being too much like school and not enough like a nursery, but for preschoolers, I think the balance is just right. Perfect inbetween step from nursery to primary school. My only complaint is there is no app/daily updates like in other nursery settings
I have been a parent of this school for 4 years. My last child leaves this term July 2017 and I am very emotional about this.
The preschool has been amazing from beginning to the end.
The structure of the schooling day prepares your child and you for school in a way that no other pre school can entertan.
The flexibility of morning club to after school club has been a blessing.
I will forever be in debt to this school as to how they have developed my children.

Outstanding pre-school. My daughter loved it here and developed extremely well. If only they continued as a primary school. Excellent on all levels.
