As I prepare to leave this esteemed institution, I am overwhelmed with positive emotions and gratitude. Two years ago, I joined the cookery program with no prior experience in cooking. This journey has been challenging, but through the school’s systematic education and the warm support from my teachers, I have learned immensely. At this moment, I feel a profound sense of meaning and fulfillment.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to Garry, Benjamin, David, Ralph, Luigi, Deanne, and Kris for their invaluable guidance.

I am confident that Academia has a significant competitive edge in this field, and I highly recommend pursuing education here.

Dear chef Deanne, I just wanted to express my appreciation for your guidance and support throughout this term. I’ve been learning from you a lot, your amazing experiences, techniques and the way you taught that made me more confident and better understanding about cake production and everything. I am so lucky to learn with you this term. I hope you have a good health, always happy and amazing passion for teaching our students like us. Thank you 🙂

In my opinion, Academia is the best place to pursue culinary certifications. I had a fantastic experience during my time studying at Academia, where I completed both the Patisserie and Commercial Cookery courses. The trainers were exceptional and having great skills. They provided clear instructions and practical examples. My time at Academia played a big role in shaping my career as a chef. Thank you to all the chef trainers I’ve encountered at Academia, especially Chef Matt, who passionately taught me valuable lessons not only in culinary skills but also on how to behave in a professional kitchen. He once said in class: “A good chef must be willing to try any type of food as long as it’s not poisoned.” This message has positively influenced my perspective on food.

HI I wanna share my great experience while studying here. I’m still doing Cert IV and Diploma of Hospitality Management at this moment.

To be honest, I haven’t experience at all about kitchen life and hospitality management before I came to Australia. But then Academia International program was making me feel comfortable and more confident entering this field and future here. They provide placement work (work experience) for all the student on purpose. It makes increase my self-confidence and could develop my cooking skill.

I am really impressed with the willingness of teachers to assist us. They are very helpful and knowledgeable within this area. help me out from my struggling during studying here.

I am not satisfied with it. I paid a lot for my course but they suddenly changed from studying in class to online class which is not my expected. they didn’t inform exact class times and I just knew the date was changed when I was in the online class. Also, there are not enough teachers for students. They just make it easy to let our class (Aged care) join another class in Brisbane. To be honest, I have learned nothing from online class, International students do not deserve this kind of service.
