I used to teach at this school but my fiancé was relocated with his job and we moved out of state. I have all good things to say about this school. The teachers here put in so much work for the students in their class. They do everything for the students to excel. The teachers keep great relationships with their students and you see that when students from older grades still talk and love on their previous year teachers. The teachers have a real family vibe and want to help each other. They love their community and deserve so much respect for all they do behind the scenes of the classroom that you dont see. The principal at the elementary is amazing. Working for her was an honor and I am inspired by her love for the school and how she does everything to make this school amazing for all. Wonderful school for children and teachers! I would recommend to anyone moving to the area or living in the area.
Horrible!!!!!! If you are of color, a working parent, or single mom; do not, DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO GO HERE!!! The principle, director of their board and my child’s teacher have thoroughly disgusted me. First my 5 year old is taught self hatred during her first Thanksgiving lesson(the teacher taught the children with material that described native Americans as savages) and now I’m finding out that my 5 year old(yes 5) will be punished and forced to attend detention if I get her to class late three times within a year!!!! When I spoke with the principal and the director of the board about my concerns they offered no solution and no apology for the offensive lesson taught to my child about her heritage. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO GO TO THIS SCHOOL!
I cannot say enough good about this school. Both of our boys are flourishing here and I recommend this school to everyone I talk to. They have a great curriculum that can challenge even the most gifted students. You can really tell the teachers love what they do at the school. This school is very forward thinking when it comes to technology and lesson plans. Bring yours kids here and you will not regret it.
