I’m a mother of three, my oldest used to go to Miami Springs Middle School and loved it there but i didn’t. There were fights according to his friends and classmates and i couldn’t bare the thought of his safety, my son tried to reassure me about how i should trust him and leave him where he wants to be (He has good grades, never had a fight, perfect attendance) I thought to myself that i was the adult meaning i was right to do this even without his permission him, i decided to move him into AIE in his 7th grade semester. I was so proud of myself thinking this was the best for decision for him. That was until he would come home crying but not telling me the reason, I thought to myself that AIE was the perfect school and had nothing to do with this, as a dumb parent i always thought it was his phone and social media. Turns out it was that he was overworked, overwhelmed, and was being bullied. He told me this last week and i couldn’t believe it. I’ve talked with many teachers and they deny everything but it’s noticeable that they’re lying, I don’t know if i should bring this to the administrators but if you have a kid that you put in this school during the summer, PLEASEE you still have time to switch them back to their comfort school!!! I should’ve trusted my son, now he’s in high school in Miami High and i can’t believe he lost 2 precious years of middle school, please listen to your kids. Sometimes they know stuff we aren’t capable of.

Looking for the best school for your child’s education is a hard job, but luckily for us, we found AIE Charter School. It is a small school with a private school setting in the heart of our hometown in Miami Springs. The Dean of the Elementary school, Mrs. Ricardo is such a GEM to the school. We love her! She selects all her teachers very carefully making a wonderful environment for all children to learn, be safe and have fun. Mrs. Ricardo loves what she does and it shows in her dedication to the school, the children and their families. Having an open communication is super important to know your child’s progress and this school certainly does that. You can reach out to Mrs. Ricardo or the teachers and you immediately get a respond right away. We are blessed to be part of the AIE family.

I can tell you that having my son transferred to AIE was the best decision we ever made!! The level of attention from not only the Principal Mrs. Ricardo but the Staff was amazing. We noticed a difference in my son immediately and he actually enjoys going to school again. Where can you go where everyone knows your child on a first name basis. I can tell you that I never saw the Spring View’s Principal outside much less greeting parents in the car line… something that Mrs. Ricardo does on a daily basis. I am grateful to this day that AIE was able to accept my son to this school. If I have questions or concerns they engage and take action. Our son’s been at AIE for 3 Years now and going into the 6th Grade next year. We’ve had a great experience and highly recommend AIE.
