I have not gone to this school, and although I’ve heard great things about it, there are also some downfalls. My friend attends this school, and like most places, I’m pretty sure they have zero tolerance for bullies. That is not the case here. My friend has been attending since the new year, and has been bullied. What has the school done? Nothing. After telling authorities about what has happened to her, they still have not helped her in any way. After contacting the principle, no actions have taken place to stop the bullying. Although someone has made bad choices, I do not think they deserve to be bullied. We all have some kind of bad history, we are not perfect, but that does not give someone the right to put others down.
I’m very happy and proud of my daughter going back to high school. I thank Academy high school, for giving her another chance to get an education. She attended Thornton high school which was a disappointment. The staff seemed not to really care about thier students.. Being said the bullys there was the staff Just as well said about the students and the gangs. They failed to report a lock down of a shooting to the parents of tge students. Also northglenn was the same I only apriciated Montebello k-12. All said said an done I do apriciate the 2nd chance she is given to complete her high school education at academy I really hope thing are different this time around an a better experiance to start off going to college.
I went to skyview high school from 89 to 93 its was awesome school its good that from my generation.but one thing i didnt like putting all mascot all in one but i guess it was time to give it change i dont like it but it was nice change for the new generation to see how us old schooler show the new schooler how we did it thank you for letting me say few things when i went to that school thank you
