This school is by far TERRIBLE ! The staff are nasty and very rude you try communicating with them about your child they dont care principal or administrator ..its just terrible . They tried expelling my son and made up all type of lies after I complained about several incidents that happened in the classroom were he was getting called black and bullied by the Hispanic kids the teacher didnt say anything ! The school didnt want to respond to that because half of the students and staff are related so they stick together doesnt seem like they like black children attending my boys have no friends the kids just bullies them and staff does nothing . Ive been trying to figure out who to reach and contact over everyone who works there because theyre just going to stick together and do nothing .I would never recommend this school to anyone ! Only reason my kids will remain is due to it being the middle of the school year and the second semester next year they will not be returning . Then all the black students dont have a shirt but all the Hispanics does this school wants to pretend as if theyre not racist but they are they only want their children and family there .
This school isnt too good but what MPS school isnt? Most of the staff treats the students unprofessional and unfair. My younger sister was always stressing about her grades in the few classes with teachers that didnt like her. Some teachers give out strict/ a lot of homework without properly teaching or covering the material. Leaving it to the students to teach themselves. The students are predominantly Hispanic/ Latino and from my perspective it seems like if you arent Hispanic/Latino, you have a harder time with the staff and and students.
Kids kissing in the hallways no one cares, kids act out on the bus no one cares no disciplinary actions are taken …teaching is very basic not a challenge, the teachers were heard calling the students sexy…not a good school ….north side campus kids behavior is better & teachers are more involved
