This school drains little kids of their creativity and life, tests every week, exams at such a young age and they claim they’re “preparing kids for the future”. This school has drained my child COMPLETELY and instead of looking forward to going to school, she has to by force. Terrible private school and the prices for uniform are outrageous, I suggest going to a different school if you’re looking for applying to this school.
Except the CAIE, nothing else.

ACG is a profit driven business. I suggest all the parents to do more research before you send your kids here. Teachers come and go in ACG Tauranga. My daughter had three different maths teachers in one year and every teacher had totally different ways to teach. She had found it very difficult to adapt the change for learning. Many students use their device to chat with friends during class time. Their team leader told me that is normal.

If you are international student, I would suggest you to find other school with good reputation as ACG Tauranga does not provide any pastoral care for the international students and families.
And if you would like a school agent , you will need to get ACG international admission to process that, they would not do anything but keep reminding you to pay the school fees for the next year.

We have two very different children at ACG Tauranga and despite their contrasting approaches to their schooling, we feel ACG more than meets their individual educational needs. My son says he feels better about himself academically and that the teachers treat him with a great deal of respect. My daughter, who is younger, says she feels like she knows a lot and if she doesn’t know she feels free to ask her amazing teachers. She also loves the friends she has made at ACG. They can not imagine being at another school and know they are very lucky to be at such an incredibly good school. As parents we know ACG is the best school for our children in the Tauranga area and by the time they graduate they will have the best of educations to start their adult lives with.
This is our daughters third year at this outstanding school. Right from her very first day she has been settled & happy & we attribute this to the dedicated, caring staff which work here. It has a real family/community feel and each and every teacher is passionate about the school, their teaching roles & philosophy. The school is strongly focused on building reciprocal relationships so we have always felt fully involved in our daughters learning, goals and of course her wellbeing. Academically it is outstanding as the staff go the extra mile – we would highly recommend ACG Tauranga to any prospective families.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city which makes you feel relaxed and at home. My daughter is at preschool and we’ve visited quite a few centers for her but came back to ACG. It is pricey but my child is happy and loved at school as well and i think that is priceless.
