For anyone looking for an alternative to traditional schooling, I wanted to share a game changer I found for my family. My 9-yr-old and 12-yr-old transferred from a local charter school (things were just too chaotic there) to AdLife Academy in December. And oh my gosh, its amazing!! Its sort of like a combo private school + homeschool situation. Its located on a cool campus in Pasadena, so the kids are still going to school everyday. Theyve made friends already and I swear they learned more in December than they did all of Aug-Nov at their old school. Its not free, BUT a local charter school we joined pays for half. Its kinda ideal! I cant believe how lucky we are that we found it, so I felt compelled to share it here in case anyone elses kiddos are completely over their current school situation, like mine were.
