School is a rough place. To some students, school has the connotation of perpetual boredom, lack of importance, and an exaggerated purpose. It’s like a necessary evil—one where you have to give away eight hours of your life every day for no apparent reason other than the pretense that it’ll “help you in the future” or that it’s important to learn subjects like math and English. But the truth is that, although the current school system is not perfect, the people caught up in this deduction—that school has no redeemable qualities—are simply incorrect in their thinking. Yes, school might teach things that are not readily used in the adult world, but this does not mean that school doesn’t teach anything. Some classes being brought into schools recently tackle this very problem, such as business classes that teach the same things that people have been complaining about for years. Also, just like adults, kids need social lives—friends to talk to and converse with. Schools in the modern day bring people from different backgrounds and cultures together, and this results in friend groups being established that are diverse in culture and ways of thinking.
An American curriculum school with qualified, native-speaking teachers who inculcate strong learning and speaking skills. Arabic and English language skills are taught with equal interest and rigor.

Active learning, learning centers, and cooperative learning are salient features in all grades.

Through a hands-on, student-centered, and inquiry-based approach, students acquire 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

The best school in Ajman!
And here I will tell you why.
It is super clean (which is very important to me as a parent), spacious, with new furniture (it really looks like a 5-star hotel)!
The management and staff are so professional and supportive.
Every month, we have coffee mornings with the school management and teachers, where we discuss important points of study in order to make it more effective and less stressful for the students.
The teachers are very kind; they are so professional and helpful.
And the nannies are so caring toward the kids, ensuring their hygiene and safety.
When my kids are at school, I can have peace of mind, as I know they are in good hands. It feels like a home.
Excellent school with passionate and professional staff where student well-being and educational progress are at the forefront of everything we do. Students are happy and make excellent progress.
Unfortunately, my daughter is still a student at this school.
I’m not writing this review for the school; they don’t care anyway. I’m writing this for any parents who are thinking about this school. Academically, there is zero result, no motivation whatsoever. They will tell you there is a library in the school, but it’s never opened, always closed. Be ready for any kind of issue or inquiry: no one is listening, and there is no resolution at all. Management is very opinionated and defensive. Principal is just a title; she is not willing to solve, develop, or even listen to your issue. You will ask me why I am still keeping my child in the school if this is how it is. It is just a matter of time, as my daughter is connected to her classmates and friends. I’m working on moving her soon.
All the best to all the parents and kids.
Ajman American School, I joined this school in September. I finally left my old, horrid school. I was expecting this school to be somewhat similar to my previous school, but I was surprised that this school was actually an amazing school. The teachers were excellent, the staff were kind, and the students here were friendly. Everything about this school made me like it more and more. It’s currently my second year here in this school, and I love it here. I even found out that my old friend from that horrid school came here a year before me. I have a year left in this school, and I am looking forward to it.
First, when I joined the school in 2019, I thought it was like any other. However, I discovered its uniqueness. For example, the school organizes diverse activities and theme days representing various countries. I believe exposing students to different cultures, including traditional attire, is beneficial. Additionally, the school respectfully acknowledges holidays of other religions.

In my opinion, our school is creative, beneficial, and feels like a second home. Joining was a good decision.
