My daughter attended kindergarten at the school, as did my son for KG1. Unfortunately, being expatriates (non-Arabic speaking), they were not attended to properly. My daughter, now in Grade 1, felt relieved when she was transferred to another school.
When I went to the school to enroll my children for the 2023-2024 academic year, they informed us that the entire management had changed. They were soliciting cash payments for the first six months and made purchasing a uniform mandatory. My children’s uniforms were already in good condition from the previous year. This prompted me to withdraw my children from the school.
I spent around AED 150 per child, purchasing a large, sturdy plastic container and stationery items. When I asked for these to be returned, they simply stated they had no knowledge of them and that the items were probably broken by now. This demonstrated a concerning lack of responsibility regarding others’ property.
I hope Arabic schools will be more accommodating to non-Arabic speaking students willing to learn the Arabic curriculum. Thankfully, my children are no longer at this school.
