The teaching staff is excellent, and most teachers work on developing students’ understanding of themselves, their problems, and others. The administration is cooperative.
My daughter and I went to take the entrance exam. It was two hours long, which is a very long time for an 8-year-old, and the questions were secretive, aimed at gauging the student’s achievement. Afterward, my son told me he didn’t feel qualified to attend the school, even though I personally know more than ten students who currently attend and I am familiar with their academic level. The entire experience left me with a very bad impression.
The school ensures academic excellence by providing clear rubrics for assignments and projects, facilitating students’ understanding and enabling them to cross-check their work from younger grades. This consistency extends across all departments. Supervisors actively collaborate to ensure students’ well-being, contributing to my satisfaction with the school’s standards for my daughters. Additionally, parents are supportive, regularly forming WhatsApp groups to share perspectives and help one another ensure their children stay up-to-date on schoolwork.
Negative vibes were all I felt. The entrance doors squeak and are hard to open—if you can even guess which one to open. New applicants’ interviews and exams are conducted secretly. Parents are not allowed to attend the interviews or see the exam questions!
Sorry, but that is what I experienced. Good luck and all the best for your kids.
As a student of this school, I proudly tell others that I study at ADIS. Ever since I joined, I’ve been supported by the teachers so much, to the point that I can always rely on them. In my opinion, this school has the most supportive and amazing teachers. The fun learning activities carried out during the lessons so that students not only learn, but have fun while learning, are the most amazing thing! I’m proud to be a student at ADIS.
Really happy with the nursery and the progress of my kids. They do a lot of activities (indoor and outdoor) and the team is really passionate about what they are doing. The teachers give special effort and support to my son, who is on the autism spectrum. He has really developed with them. They never complain about the children and they try to handle them well. I can’t thank them enough. Special thanks to Ms. Margaret and every hidden soldier on the team.
Aldurrah International School is a great place for our kids to enjoy learning.
