MDRS is a good school. It has all the features to be a great school.
Such a great school! Yes, it has strict rules, but for good reason. If anyone asked about Alshwamekh School two to three years ago, you would have been shocked about all the bad things that occurred during that time. They have rules because these rules are needed, and if you just follow the rules, there wouldn’t be a problem. I would say this school focuses much more on the academic side than “entertainment.” Yes, that’s true, but they do have activities and such so you could enjoy your school year and breeze through it with no issue. It’s by far one of the best schools I ever went to.
The new principal, vice principal, and their assistant at this school are so rude and mean. They talk to you like you’re an animal. They shout at you in front of the whole school to make sure everyone knows the mistake you made. The teachers give students a lot of work, even when it’s midterms week. But some teachers are amiable and kind to students. However, students are very rude to the teachers who are not Arab; they don’t listen to them and don’t focus in their classes.
This is the worst school I have ever seen in my life. I went there for a trip, and the principal was shouting at us. There was no tissue in the bathrooms, and they were dirty. Al Shawamekh School was very unpleasant.
Students can’t even do anything! What is this school? Students can’t wear accessories, jackets with prints/colors, shoes with prints/colors, or anything!
To be honest, this is a bad school. I don’t like it at all. The school became so strict, and when it’s time to go home, you’re not allowed to go outside to see if your family is there to pick you up. There are exams now, and they didn’t want to cancel one class for the exam, so now we basically have nine classes for a whole week. The exam is less than an hour, and some of my classmates didn’t finish; they had like one or two questions left, but the teachers didn’t let them finish. They just snatched the exam papers from the students. Last year, we had exams, and when we finished, some parents wanted to take their kids home, but the teachers didn’t want any students going home for no reason. One of the students heard one of the teachers at the reception say something that shouldn’t be said to a parent. They lied to the parents and said that we were doing a revision for the next exam. We didn’t do anything; we just stayed in class doing nothing.
