In 2019, we sought help for our daughter’s separation anxiety and were referred to a counselor specializing in children’s mental health. Unfortunately, our experience with this counselor was deeply disappointing. Her dismissive and disrespectful behavior, which included mocking our daughter’s struggles with anxiety and yelling at her, exacerbated our daughter’s anxiety and led to a strong aversion to school. We cannot recommend this counselor.
We are really happy with the school. Our son is in EYFS, and the teachers and staff made his transition into the country and the school seamless. The teachers are so kind and caring, and it is such a friendly and nurturing environment. Our little boy loves school, which makes us very happy!
Al Shohub Private School has become our second home. The friendly environment and dedicated staff make us confident in our choice of Adam’s education. We are grateful for the warm welcome we received here and for the teachers’ efforts in stimulating our son’s development. Confidence and self-improvement are part of the educational journey, and we are fully confident that we have chosen the right place to provide the best start to his future.
We feel satisfied with the opportunities our child receives at Al Shohub Private School. Providing academic excellence with a loving community is truly what sets this school apart. Here, students find the motivation to discover their passions and develop their talents in innovative ways. We are very satisfied with the choice we made, and we strongly recommend Al Shohub School as a great choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive, high-quality education.
Choosing Al Shohub School was the best decision we made for our son. The personal attention and innovative education program truly enriched his educational journey. We can’t help but feel proud of the level of dedication shown by the teachers here and how students are encouraged to make the most of their potential. Al Shohub is not just a school, but rather a community that cares about developing students’ personalities, mental and social skills.
This school was my children’s favorite, but last year it shut down, which disrupted everything. The school was nice, but the closure was annoying. My children attended this school their whole lives and had many friends, but that changed because the school couldn’t handle operating for many years. I had to remove my children, and I didn’t like it.
My child is leaving school during her IGCSEs due to the stressful environment. The teachers are disorganized and constantly stressing the students by claiming they will fail certain subjects.
I have plenty of reasons why this school is a mistake and you should not enroll your children there. My daughter had many issues with this school. The administration is disorganized and unappreciative of their students. Hypocrisy is prevalent; the school consistently blames students for its own shortcomings. Furthermore, the school is excessively strict.
This is the most awful school I have ever attended. The school keeps changing teachers, and the students are fed up. The head of secondary is no help, and the school cafeteria doesn’t have enough food for everyone; they are always running out. The school is severely underfunded and cannot afford air conditioners, so it’s always hot, making it difficult for students to learn. Additionally, the school is unreasonably strict and disorganized, with nonsensical rules and unsanitary conditions. They present a facade of kindness in front of parents and the ADEK, but this is why the school is terrible. I strongly advise against sending your child here; I suggest you enroll them elsewhere.
