I would give it a 0 star if I could, school only cares about the money. Recent retired staff, gets an accomplishment post but no one talks about the mental abuse they used to do to kids that couldn’t pay. The school is only in it for the money and high education scores. Tried to sway me to do science instead of my dream job I do now. Choose a better school that cares about your kids please.
Can you please, please address the truancy issue with your students. At any given day or week your student are milling (loitering) in groups around the sports field. All during school hours. The behavior of some of the girls beggars belief

The level of filth and Hungry Jacks rubbish your students drop from Alexandras Hills shopping Centre on the pathway behind ALDI is a daily occurrence and is appalling. You should collectively hang your heads in shame when you allow this to occur.

No wonder Redland City Council (in an attempt to prevent antisocial behavior and property damage), deployed temporary security cameras in the pathway and park behind Aldi, Alexandra Hills. Queensland Police Service are aware of support Council’s this deployment and Council’s contribution to improved community safety.

Its just a shame one of the camera was vandalized soon after it was installed.

Brilliant teachers and dedicated staff always happy to help ,our son been at this school for three years now and he is happy .
have been going to this school for 2 years now and started hating it in 2021 when i was suspended after a suicide attempt because of bullying happening to me. school believed the kid with no problems whatsoever than the kid in the hospital. even before i started hating it the school still doesn’t care about your education and just wants to look good when in reality there’s some fight happening every second day, kids suffering severe depression getting rejected the help they need and lazy teachers who only focus on two kids the whole time. there’s about three actually good teachers though, my. cowley, ms. bond and mrs sandoz. only teachers who have ever helped kids and let them get a break when they needed it. don’t come here, don’t send your kids here i beg of you.
Alexandra Hills is a great high school. I have been able to thoroughly enjoy my education here as many of the teachers are lovely and show interest in how well you, as an individual, are doing.
There are many different programs that help with students development, such as the Honors Academy Program. This gives some of the high achieving grade 11 and 12 students a “mentor” who helps them get through their final years of school.
The school has a great performing arts program with Music, Dance and Drama, all in which have extension classes/extra curricular activities.
I have had a great experience at this school.
