Great school! If you’re looking for a school who can deal with Special educational needs then this school is for you! We’ve had no bad dealings with this school. All the staff we have had dealings with have been friendly and approachable. The only down side I would say, is communication could be a little better. Other than that no bad things to say! My daughter is happy at school. She’s made some lovely friends and adores her teachers! She’s come on leaps and bounds. From a parent who was anxious about her child not developing well or getting adequate support, I can only say I made the right choice putting her in here. She’s now in year 1 and is doing amazing! 🙂
This school seems like a lovely little school on the surface of it but I have been disappointed. It’s not good for working parents. A breakfast club runs from 7.45. After school club there is little provision. Clubs have minimal places across 3 year groups. They don’t run the first week of term or the last one/two, so if you have secured a spot, you get about 3/4 weeks worth per term. They can be cancelled on the day before as well. This school communicates events out that children get excited for and then cancel them. Communication isn’t great. I would also say it’s not a very thoughtful/inclusive school as in my experience, children were being selected from class to go on little trips and my child wasn’t being selected and didn’t know why. This was not communicated to the children what was going on. Any workshops that they run for parents are always two hours slap bang in the middle of the work day which I have given feedback on. That said, my child did make friends and seemed overall happy there.
I’ve sent three children to this school and they’ve all had a fabulous time and been successful learners. As with all schools there are always challenges, but the teachers are always willing to discuss things with you.
My daughter loves to go to school, she loved her teacher.
General attitude is if you don’t like it go elsewhere! Arrogance is profound here. Best thing I could’ve done is take my son elsewhere.
