Year after year I kept making excuses as to why I couldn’t go to APLA. This past year I decided to lay aside all excuses and step out in faith. This year has been absolutely transformational. I have gained a lot of knowledge from this year, but most importantly I have grown in my relationship with Christ. The staff has encouraged me the whole year in pursuing God’s calling on my life. I have also made lifelong friendships with my class, so much as it feels like family. APLA has been a pivotal point in my life and my career with help providing me a clearer direction for my future. I am so thankful I stepped into what God was calling me to do. Graduate class of ’22.
I was part of the APLA class of 2021 (the best class yet…:)) I am 57 years old (a “non-traditional student”) I have a M.A. from years ago. I went to APLA with high expectations and all my expectations were exceeded. I learned so much which has made me a stronger follower of God. Yes, there is head knowledge learning but there is also a heart transformation.
APLA is a professional school of Ministry, everything was organized and well communicated. Students are appreciated, valued and respected. I encourage anyone I know to pour into the 9 months – it goes by quickly and it will be the best 9 months of your life!
I have been attending online courses (called on demand) for a couple months. I truly enjoy it! I have learned a lot, including how i have done some stuff wrong in the past. Hopefully I will have a car again and be accepted to attend in person before i finish the online courses! I am 25 years old and have had trouble with school in the past because of a disability. God bless Allison Park Church for giving the area this school!
