Attended this fine institution in 1962 with Ms. Fanning as our progressive 6th grade teacher, offering an eclectic curriculum that, in addition to rigorous core classes such as mathematics in which I recall exhaustively working on equations with fractions, we read Shakespeare and she sent us next door to learn proper Spanish from Mr. Torres. I still retain his authentic accent but have a little trouble constructing a compete sentence. For those who question the practicality or pertinence of mastering fractions as I did at that stage, I can attest that this knowledge will serve you well on a daily basis when you get bigger. If you don’t believe me, master it anyway just to pass and go on to 7th grade and put that skill in your back pocket. I guarantee the day will come that you’ll appreciate that skill just waiting for you in your back pocket. She also exposed us to a lot of show tunes and Broadway-type musicals which, on balance, has been an asset, but fortunately that sort of thing was limited to only 6th grade.
Im in 3 grade and my teachers name is mrs vallejo she is awesome and the principals name is mrs montes she is awesome you should go their next year school starts agust 15
I love this place because i used to go to that school but i moved then i went back but then i moved again.I love Almaden. GOO DOLPHINS!????????????
