I would give 0 stars. I cannot speak to the programs and teachers… but my experience with admissions was very sales driven and did not give any care towards you as a human. I was asked for my transcripts in December, and I asked for time to enjoy the holiday season and I would be in touch. I was texted just 3 days later by the same counselor asking about a financial aid appointment. I ignored this as I already discussed I would not be attending to this until after holiday (my program doesn’t begin until April and there was much time). I was texted 2 more times at which I said I will call at my convenience to set up the appointment, I did not forget and that the start date is a bit away. She said, “we won’t hold seats forever”, but I can call next week to set up. I asked, “Why did I pay to hold my seat?” and all of a sudden, I had to call that day or next. Today, the next day I was called by another person asking about my transcripts and I told them I am disappointed that I was being contacted as I keep more or less being harassed by them, was not given a deadline in which I missed and established that I would be contacting them…. Magically this turned into a “courtesy call” and I had actually been removed from the program because of the texts I sent…. which were in no way rude as outlined above. I feel their communication needs to drastically improve and respect of other people’s time (perspective that they aren’t the ONLY thing occurring in a person life). So if you have a choice… don’t work with Kathy.
Kathy was extremely nice as a person very welcoming. As far as signing up for the program she was very discouraging. She told me there was no way I can work full time be a parent and attend this school. I completed the enrollment she then signed me up for financial aid. I asked to reschedule my financial aid until my transcript came in. She refused said we can still do everything without the transcript. I completed everything went through all the paperwork just for Kathy to ask for my transcript 2 days after. 2 seconds after receiving them she called me to say I can’t start because the trade school I went to didn’t offer enough credits for the program. She then went on to say “you can do one of the other programs offered here just not this one” “or you can go to college for two years and come back after”. She doesn’t have a heart when it comes to people feelings after they’re told a start date and graduation date then can’t do it. Things happen for a reason and after reading the reviews I should’ve went with my gut the first encounter with her and left.
