As a parent in the ASCS school for so many years, I am shocked to read such negative comments! Some had the audacity to mention the administrators’ good names, such as Sr. Nabila. I’ve known Sr. Nabila for quite a long time; she is so helpful, listens to all concerns, and tries her best to solve them. This is so outrageous and unacceptable! If you, as parents, fail to respect the school’s values and staff, how do you expect them to respect you?
It was an honor for me to work at that school in 2019 with a great team.
I do not recommend this school for any child. This school is unfair in how they treat boys and girls; they are controlling! All they care about is money. It is a careless school! Kids are bullying each other; it’s a mess! The school has a very poor education system, and the staff is fake when the inspection team arrives. The system is extremely poor, and the fees are very high, which is not worth it. All your child will get from this school is anxiety, stress, and depression! Unfortunately, you can’t rate a zero, but I’d give a negative rating if it were possible!
The UAE government has announced no fee hike for the 2018-2019 school year, yet this school has increased its fees again. They are increasing fees every year.
I am not at all satisfied with the management as they seem only interested in taking money from parents.
My personal experience has been positive. My daughter has been studying there since KG2 and is currently in 4th grade. When I have raised concerns about something, such as bullying, the supervisors, Nabila, Basma, and Azza, have been attentive and addressed the issues promptly. I haven’t had to intervene further because they take action immediately. My only reservation is the school’s strict adherence to the Muslim religion. We are Christians, and my daughter has been excluded from photos and other activities for not wearing a hijab. While we respect their beliefs, we believe in reciprocal respect for our religion within the school. Excluding her from activities contradicts the inclusive education we expect, especially given that we pay tuition. If the school cannot accommodate students from other religions, they should be upfront about it during the enrollment process.
My experience with my kids has been amazing. I’m satisfied with the teaching and how the school responds to and respects the kids, caring about their emotional well-being. My experience is in KG and elementary school. The best thing is seeing your kids excited about going to school and knowing they are safe in that place where they spend most of their time.
