AmeriSchools are one of the best charter schools around. The teachers treat each student equally. The school has Great communication from teachers to parents about their kid(s) and if a parent cant come to the school they can communicate with the teachers by using ClassDojo. The teachers are amazing to my kids Ms.Oliver, Miss. Bristow, Ms. Roberts, Ms. Ortega, Mrs. Oertel, and Miss. Brown encourage my kids to do better be better and encourage them that they can accomplish anything if they put their mind to it and make good decision making. I see a huge difference from my kids since online learning due to Covid-19 with their learning and self-esteem. The school does some fun festive activities like wacky wheel day, water day, pajama day, and video game party day are some fun festive activities that the whole school participates with parents. Miss Ireland and Miss Eaststep know their students well and they encourage their students to make good decision. If you have any questions or concerns Miss Ireland and Miss Eaststep are always on it and make sure all your questions and concerns are answered they do an amazing job running the school. I do recommend AmariSchools to family and friends I have Four kids that attend AmeriSchools and now I have a nephew that attends the school now and we are going to keep attending AmariSchools until they graduate eighth grade!! ?? I strongly recommend AmeriSchools!!!
Never send your child here. I was a former student and my experience was horrible. They accused me and my friends for being troublemakers when we usually did nothing wrong. They threatened to kick us out of a school trip and they kicked us out of a school organization a week before an event that they promised us we would be included in. It wasn’t just my friends and I who got kicked out it was a bunch of other students who also got kicked out. They promised us a lot of things and even if you went to all of the events and supported the school you still got kicked out. The sports weren’t that good. If you got in trouble the whole practice would be abuse. If you had payed the $75 to get in the sport sometimes you weren’t allowed to play if you weren’t as good as the rest of the team. They had multiple math teachers throughout the year and we had to start over every single time a new teacher would come. We didn’t have History and they taught a grade level below. They didn’t take discipline seriously and got the kids who were decent and good in trouble instead of the bad kids. If you send your child here they won’t get the education they deserve and you’ll put their academic future at risk.
If I can rate a zero I so would. this school is ridiculous the principal is horrible she don’t care about the respect nor does she care about these children if she would be gone the school would be a lil better. the teachers are good the principal sucks if she lost her job the whole school would be a great school she doesn’t care about the well-being of her children she doesn’t care about what’s going on with the children as long as her numbers are great that’s all she cares about. There has been multiple incidents of my children being picked on not by other students but by the teachers and the principal and the principal has admitted to doing so and yet has no feeling or care of why she should not be doing that. So as far as the school goes don’t bring your children here it’s a horrible school. Students get picked on by the teachers and the staff and the principal not by the their piers.
