First and foremost I would like to start off with a highly agreed opinion; If i could give a rating of no stars, I would. This review is coming from a student – me. My experience here has deranged my fondness for learning and even my self esteem; Its been nearly 5 years since my appalling traumatizing attendance to this school; yet my anxiety makes it feel like yesterday. I almost killed my self going here and the authorities seemed perfectly awed by it as they allowed girls to consistently bully me and did absolutely nothing but a restraining order valid only at school. My house was CONSTANTLY being egged, my window had been broken twice, I was scared to even walked home. These girls knew where I lived, they were threats; which the school knew about since my mom had wasted her time going in to report them more than THREE TIMES. I ended up skipping school more than half the time I was attending (middle of 7th to end of 8th). . My middle school experience was robbed from me – I have never known anxiety till I attended Anacapa. I hope this honest opinion is helpful and will bring awareness. I love this Middle School! Its the best one in Ventura! I dreamed of going to this school and i did! PLEASE SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!
