My personal experience here is/was as a student, and the school itself isn’t terrible. There are bathrooms on almost every floor and the one floor that doesn’t have a bathroom is the 3rd floor which is just a single hallway, so you don’t have to walk very far to do your business. The drinking fountains however, uses metal piping instead of pvc piping so the water has a slight iron flavor, other than that the water is perfectly fine. The lockers work fine, but sometimes are finicky from previous years of students be too frickin’ lazy to enter their combinations in on their own and just jam a pencil into the locking mechanism and can use their locker without entering their combination. The campus’ cafeteria serves decent food everyday, and there is a peanut free table for those with peanut allergies. The 3 gymnasiums are roughly equally sized, with 2 having the ability to become one big gym. Like other schools, there are Fire, tornado, and lock down drills performed every trimester. The classes and teachers are different for every one but the staff at AMSA are good at their job of enforcing rules and other staff duties. Not every class can get the morning announcements, and not every class can hear the bell, but the teachers will inform the students of the morning announcements and when to leave. The pool that at the campus has separate locker rooms with about 16-18 showers in each facility, the pool itself has 8 lanes. One thing I dislike about this school is when teachers don’t grade on time and you don’t get credit on a project that you spent (ALOT) of time on.
This review is only pertaining to the swim pool . While the pool is okay, it is not a good one for meets. The space for visitors is very very limited. If the meet has more than seventy swimmer s don’t bother to sign up. If you get a spot you will be squished or you won’t see your swimmer
