If you are looking for a pre-school to send your kids to, do NOT send them here! Most of the teachers are absolutely neurotic and some even take the children outside to play in freezing cold weather. Other parents were concerned about this and have told me. I spoke with the director of the school, Kendra Brown, and she refuses to do anything about this issue. The paraprofessionals that work here are downright rude, ghetto, and unprofessional! Two of them stand out: Rhonda and Marylin. During morning drop offs, I saw both of these women physically get in kids faces and yell at them as if they were drill sargeants in the military. Common sense ladies: you don’t yell at children and then wonder why they wont stop crying. As soon as I figured out that Kendra never addresses these problems, my husband and I immediately took our children out of this god-forsaken school and sent them to a private one where they are much happier and where the staff treats them with kindness. If you are the parent of a special-needs kid, then this is the worst school to send them to. The paraprofessionals treat them more like a burden and yell at them when the kids dont even understand them…and this is supposed to be a school where they supposedly specialize in helping special needs children. Do yourself a favor and take your child out of this school or better yet, dont send them here in the first place.
I really don’t know why someone would write a review for how they were treated in parking in the wrong place as that had any baring on how great this school is for the kids.

My child received the best care for his special needs that prepared him for entering the mainstream school system ahead of the curve instead of behind.

It also great benefit financially, for those parents with special needs kids, to received 2 years of PK without having to pay for it (typical kids enrollment is about $10K). This affords parents extra money to go towards additional programs/services that they may not be able to afford.

The facilities, teachers and staff are all about the kids. Could there be a grumpy old staff person, I am sure all schools have it. Was it right to yell about a parking spot, no. Was it right to park in a spot reserved for staff, no. Was is right to rate this school a one star over a parking spot?? Absolutely, not.

Employee screamed at me from her car, and continued to scream about HER PARKING SPACE, I thought wow she works with precious little children.
