We have always been treated with respect since we joined AQUA-TOTs last summer until today. The lack of sympathy and pushy nature we experienced from the new manager on March 23, 2024 was unacceptable. My daughter gets anxious with new people and strangers. She immediately started crying the minute the manager picked her to and take her to the pool. I was not allowed in the pool area per policy so I couldn’t go in and comfort her. I repeatedly told the staff and the manager that my daughter doesn’t do well with strangers, that was her first class for that level, and she gets anxious and scratches herself. No one seems to hear my concerns when we were there that day. Other parents had to witness the screaming, crying and scratching child until I asked them to remove her from the pool. My daughter is traumatized by how she was treated today. This is not how I want my daughter to experience her swim lessons. My concerns were not heard. Every child is different, and I expect everyone works at AQUA-TOTs demonstrate patience and be adaptive with different situation especially working with children. I do not appreciate how we were treated. I hope AQUA-TOTs will open an investigation for this incident.

Very disappointed with AQUA-TOTS in this location now. I have a soon that attend this location a few years ago and it went fine. Last year though my youngest daughter started attending and it has been a very bad experience. The rotation of instructors is absurd, my daughter has had countless instructors and on some occasions we had to change the day of the week and time of her class because of cancellations, ending up with very inconvenient times. I asked to cancel her registration and I was told there was a 30 days notice, which is absurd. If we are cancelling it means we don’t want the services anymore, we’ve been there for a year, there should be no notice. And on top of that, they want to charge me a yearly charge, because I gave the 30 days notice right at the one year mark. Makes absolute no sense, they know my intention is not to stay another year, I am having my daughter stay additional 30 days because I am being forced to, but an yearly fee on top of that is ludicrous.

I highly recommend Aqua-Tots swim school. The setup is very pleasant, and the facility is very clean. The front desk staff and coaches are very helpful, kind, and patient. always happy to answer my questions. My kids love coming here, and they have learned and made progress in their skills for the short time we have been here. The coaches always give feedback at the end of the lessons. I have been so thrilled with the progress they have made with my kids in such a short period of time. Coach Hannah is amazing. She was so patient with my 3-year-old daughter, who was so scared of being in the water with a new person. She connected with her well and helped her overcome her fears. If you’re looking for a swim school for your kids, Aqua-Tots is the right place.
