In reading the reviews I find consistancies that have been my experience as well. I have three daughters, one who graduated two years ago, one graduating this year, and one who will be a freshman next year. The older two took some honors/AP courses and did very well. The little one will enter the school as a special needs student. Overall, the district is wonderful in servicing these children but it is up to the parents to stay involved and speak up when needed. That will be even more true at the high school. The student body is huge, the counselors are horrible, and some of the teachers are unbelievable bad. If the children are motivated and the parents collaborate with the teachers and administrators, they will be successful and find themselves in a great college.
graduated in 1984. great school. only went there my senior year but learned more in that year than my 3 previous years. more challenging. great achieving school all around.
Arcadia High School was great. I was shy and awkward in high school. I look back with fondness.
