Best school in Bay Area if you can only ignore some issues. I compared Mitty with nearest private school that charges twice as much as fees as Mitty but found Mitty to be outstanding academically. Probably best value for your dollars. Also, Mitty’s science and math teachers are passionate about their subjects and teach concepts well.
They also use college level text book for most AP courses and cover advanced materials. Mr. Greene and Mr. DePalma are one of the best teachers. AP-Physics teacher is very good too.
School also has many after school activities/clubs, your kid will find something interesting. There is something happening all time. School has very diverse student body.

Mr. Fallis is strict, I appreciate that he and some parents volunteer keep campus safe. I had to remove one star because one of his administrative staff likes to belittle students and control them.
She enforces dress code while she herself wears skirts too short to pass dress code. I want to remind this particular person to stop behaving like an angry prison guard or bartender or prison guard wearing bartender dress. Teachers/teaching staff should follow their own ethical code and set good example.

We could not have picked a better high school for my son than Mitty. He was able to attend the college of his choice. He graduated with enough AP credits that he can get though college in 4 years. The classes that weren’t AP classes still left him well prepared for his freshman/sophomore classes. He was able to take both computer and engineering classes. He especially enjoyed working with those teachers. His college counselor was outstanding! The homework was reasonable for the most part. He wasn’t into sports or theater but he still found a group of like minded friends and had time to develop friendships outside of school as well. He told us that he was very grateful for his high school experience!
Great place, although I don’t think this is the right name
