We are so fortunate to have found Archway Academy. We had a horrific introduction to childcare with the first daycare where we enrolled our 3 children under 3 years old, and transitioning to Archway is like night and day. I finally feel like I can breathe. It’s hard to put to words the energy you feel as soon as you walk through the front door. From the beginning, the staff exuded positivity, confidence and competence. The teachers are happy, knowledgeable, attentive, and truly enjoy their jobs and the children they work with. The Director, Katie, and her staff foster a proactive, collaborative atmosphere built on teamwork, where everyone is on the same page and works together seamlessly. Every teacher is familiar with the individual needs of each child, regardless of which room they are in, and they all show each kid genuine affection and care. Firm boundaries are enforced with love and an emphasis on the children’s abilities. The children there are always happy – they are excited to be there and feel at home. The curriculum is stimulating and engaging for all learning styles, and the staff encourages parental participation. They provide balanced and healthy meals and snacks and somehow manage to get my picky kids to eat – something I have yet to master. Communication is on point – the flow of information is abundant, effortless and relaxed. I sometimes lose track of time chatting at pickup. Some places can be so harsh, but Archway is completely non-judgmental. We feel like we can be ourselves there and so do our kids.
Soon after starting here, I noticed immense growth in all of my children, but my son in particular is thriving. He has several developmental delays and his behavior can be challenging. Katie and the team at Archway normalized my son’s behavior. Where our previous daycare tried to make me think something was wrong with him, Archway assured me he was developmentally normal and they were beyond capable of helping him through his phases. They easily handle all children, including those who are not the picture of perfect on-time development, with compassion, patience, and creativity. They are very flexible and accommodating of individual needs – if my son is having a hard time transitioning, Katie would have him come help her around the building, which he LOVES. They have an awesome multi-purpose “chill room” for kids to mix and mingle and play when maybe they are having a hard time focusing in the classroom.
My family and I treasure the relationships we have formed with all of the caregivers at Archway. We are so grateful to be part of a community where the children feel valued, cherished, safe, and loved.

My husband and I are beyond grateful for the exceptional care that our children receive each and everyday at Archway Academy #10. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the director Kathleen is like no other. She is attentive, caring, and very responsive to any and all of our immediate needs. The cleanliness of this facility is nothing like you will ever see in any other daycare and they all work hard to make sure that our children are being taken care of in a healthy environment. We have a daughter who has special needs and this was the first facility that didn’t even blink an eye when accepting her and placing her into one of their classrooms. Starting at Archway Academy #10 has been the best decision we have made for our kids and their care. This is a wonderful daycare, and you will know it as soon as you walk into the building. Kathleen is so welcoming and supportive. My daughter has been going to preschool since the end of January. She is a very timid little girl. I cannot tell you how much she has changed; her social skills have improved greatly, her way of holding pencils and crayons, and how she colors and writes have improved astonishingly. What I loved the most is that she told me she wants to become like Mrs. Mable when she grows up, and that made me feel just how much care they put into my child. Going to work and knowing that a trusted and nurturing facility is taking care of your child just as much as you would is one of the best feelings a mom could experience and a huge relief.
