This is a charter school that takes learning seriously, has high standards, and pushes students to excel. My son in kindergarten had several hours of homework each week, and all children in his class are expected to be able to read by the end of kindergarten.

Having a child at ACA (at least in the early years) requires that parents spend significant time to work with the child on homework. Every time we talk to other ACA parents, this is the most frequent topic that comes up. I can see how it may be stressful for some very busy parents. Still, it is important to find that time, to make sure that the child progresses well and keeps up with ACA’s standards.

Should also mention that, in our experience, the teachers and staff have been very professional and organized. Our son’s teacher has been amazingly dedicated and has been working tirelessly to keep parents in the loop and answer any questions they may have.

I called today to enroll my three kids to this school, they transfer me to someone should have answer to my question. As soon she pick up keeps telling me I don’t know on every question i have. She was super in rush felt so humiliation . Also she was Coughing louder more like fake it just so to finish with my call. Wow….While im guessing the school pick the wrong person to Represents them. You can imagine what the service would be if this turn to be my kids school. To whom answered my call today you done your job so poorly made me turn away with our plan, you just lost three students along with their family recommendation to everyone they know! I Suggest the school to replaced her with voicemail Machine??
My child goes here and he is thriving! This a fast paced school and parent/ guardian participation is a must for success….. not an easy journey but I feel like this school preps kids to manage time and do their assignments so isn’t that an excellent trait for college or life in general? Administration and teachers are easy to communicate with and keep parents in the loop at all times regarding what’s going on in school be it good or bad. I also do not mind the uniform, saved a lot of headache in the morning!!!
