It was one of the best schools I went to many years back. Now I’m back in Papua New Guinea, I still remember friendly people and friends during school.
The Armidale town itself is very lovely. It’s peaceful but the weather is terrible.
The cold & snow are the only things that might deter you from wanting to live in Armidale.
Above all circumstances, it’s a great place. Formally, Armidale High School was the best school ever.
I will never forget.

If you get into teal your doing year 8 maths in year 7 the best school in armidale it does not deserve the dad rep and is better then o’conner and TAS
Large parks for playing, and great spaces, but not large enough for the quantity of the students there. Cramped classrooms and busy halls.
There is a lack of teachers (and there are only a few good teachers who actually teach well and have helped me. Most of them can’t get a grip on the disruptive kids in class, making it very hard to concentrate) the students don’t abide to the rules because the teachers don’t bother to reinforce them. They lock the toilets during class time, and sometimes forget to unlock some during breaks too, apparently because of the people vaping and the vandalism, but they don’t think about the people that actually have to go. The violence is absolutely out of control, the school needs to get their students under control. Would’ve given it 0 stars but it’s not possible so 1 it is.
I used to go there and my experience was Absolutely horrible, the teachers don’t show up on time and don’t teach us anything. The kids are so rude and disrespectful, the teachers lock the bathrooms all day and wash their feet in the bubblers, there are cops there every day because of how bad the violence is.
