The attitude of the students in this school is too bad, especially on the bus. Throw out their feet, use many seats by one student, and have a loud conversation. What are they learning at school?
This school is so nasty. Who runs this place? (definetly not the teachers yall) Speaking from many years of experience this is not good if you wanna go to uni. The only thing that pisses off the teachers more than school uniform is gum. This “RULE” is clearly not enforced as almost every surface of the school is full of gum and whoever knows what! Please focus on removing the bad behavourial students instead of punishing the good students for either simply talking or wearing the wrong shoes. mean, seriously, do they even care about our education here? It’s like they prioritize enforcing ridiculous rules over actually teaching us anything useful. It’s ridiculous how much time and energy is wasted on nitpicking trivial things instead of supporting and encouraging students to succeed. And don’t even get me started on the lack of resources and extracurricular opportunities. It’s like they want us to just scrape by instead of thriving. This place is a joke.
this school isn’t anywhere near as bad as the reviews are making it seem. i think most of them were written by immature kids who don’t know how to see reason and handle discipline. i’ve had some very professional and friendly teachers during my 3 years here that motivate me to try my hardest. you can’t expect every teacher in every school to be perfect all the time.
my main issue with this school is the students. a large majority of them, (of course, not all of them), mainly years 7-9, are downright toxic, bad-mannered, and audacious. i have seen some serious bullying happen to other people and my friends. fortunately, the staff have been prompt to offer them help and support.
recently the staff have been working to improve the school to ensure the students are happy and comfortable. it has a wide variety of opportunities, ranging from performing arts night, business week, trips to western sydney uni, and a dozen other annual incursions and workshops. these give students the necessary qualities and experience which allows them to be betterly prepared for their transition into adulthood.
overall, arthur phillip is not a terrible place to send your children if you want them to have a bright future. i would give it a 7.5/10
This school seems like a third-class comprehensive pathetic public school, however the buildings are very much better than macquarie, not only that, it is way more richer and better funded than macquarie. This is evident by looking at the buildings and the basketball courts, 10000000000000000000000000x better than maccas high. Funny thing is that this comprehensive high school beat the so called ‘centre of excellence’ macquarie fields high school in debating last year. If i am honest macquarie is actually such a trash instituition, i cant even call it a school, lets call it a nightclub instead of a school cause that is much closer to what macquarie high is than to a school.
i would definitely not recommend this school what’s so ever i lost a sibling due to her getting bullied the school has not done anything about it till this day my sister would not rock up to school because of this issue then deputy’s would call the parents and lie about everything saying “she has 20 course warnings” ” we want to kick your daughter out” but when our parents went to the interview they didn’t let my sister speak so my parents just believed the school because they would lie there way thru since then i could say that yes i miss my sister
