i hate this place the chem teacher is a harvard dropout, the choir teacher got suspended for throwing a chair at a student (which like? this is one of multiple accounts of teachers attacking students?); it’s a complete gamble if you’ll get the decent math teacher for a semester and barely manage to pass, also along with that the school is just so poorly equipped to handle academics that it overstrains itself and literally every department suffers except dance. they pour all the art funding into dance, they at least have 3 dedicated dance teachers if not more, but the painting teacher also is the drawing teacher because they cant afford to have dedicated subjects ??? there is such blatant bias towards dancers and it’s sickening. along with that all the kids here are awful and sheltered, some of them are decent but this school made me HATE art kids so much (even as an art kid) i wish i would have gone to a normal highschool/middleschool i feel like i was 100% cheated out of that experience. 1/5 stars for this dead slug of a school i should have gone to sunset
I enjoyed this school while I went to it but the front office ladies are really really rude, its been consistent the entire time I’ve been there. as a senior trying to graduate through this covid madness I was treated awfully. they were trying to make me pay bills I do not owe and having to stand outside in order to get anything done. the school should really reconsider the way they are treating their students because this left a sour note on my 4 years of going there.
