During the last month or so of every summer I always was readily awaiting the next school year and all of the fun experiences and conversations to be had. It didn’t happen the year after I left, I wasn’t as excited, if at all, to be going to school again. Ashbrook is like a home away from home. It’s technically school, but also not really. It’s different. It’s more loving and caring. There’s an overwhelming sense of family, everyone knows each other. Every day I wake up in the morning, I want to be going back to Ashbrook instead of Crescent Valley. Ever since the 6th Grade I dreaded the day that I had to graduate from Ashbrook, and that’s not because of the long speech, that’s because I didn’t want to leave. I look forward to visiting it in the future because they managed to make middle school the best time of my life, and that’s a hard job.

The only mold to fit into is higher level academics and thinking, it’s not your average public school. The curriculum is meant to challenge even the brightest minds. This school also does not tolerate constant behavioral issues as I have witnessed the effects firsthand.

TL;DR: This school is great and you couldn’t do better if your child cares about actually learning and being engaged.

I loved Ashbrook so much! They challenged me academically, and truly made our class a family. The copious amounts of resources such as the science labs, green house, theatre, and more aided in my learning a great deal.
This school is the best!!!! I’m gonna miss everything about it from the friends to all of the great teachers we have there, I can’t wait to come and visit during the school year!
