We have had constant meetings with the staff at the school that they don’t actually try to solve the problems. School decides to spend more money on field trips and things for the seniors instead of trying to actually pay attention to their students and fix the bullying problems at this school. Or finding better methods to actually teach students. They make the students work as a group even if 1 students is the only one doing all of the work, all 5 students get the points which is not fair for that one student. This school is going downhill every year hopefully they get a new principal soon. Or someone starts caring for the students future and not trying to make it a fun school. Every year they change the uniform. They must commission on those uniforms, I mean it’s kind of weird how every year they have a new different uniform. In 2016, the had really formal uniform and now they wear a regular t-shirt like any other Elementary School. All year they have students selling candy boxes. We all went through high school but no High School makes you pay over $400 for your senior class like it’s just ridiculous specially for a public school. And it still doesn’t cover everything. Like I said the school is going downhill hopefully someone comes in and changes things up a little and makes it how school is supposed to be for the students and their future. The class of 2017 didn’t even actually have to work they let most of the student senior students just pass.

I was there for my freshman and soft more year and it was bad. I was being bullied a lot and they did nothing about it. The teachers are not helpful at all. I have a learning disability and they say I don’t because they think I dont. My doctor says that I have one and they don’t have the right to say that I dont. A lot of the teachers don’t know how to help the students. All of the adults don’t know how to keep them selfs organized. The teachers lie about the grades and the principle goes along with it. IF YOUR CHILD HAS TROUBLE LEARNING OR HAS PROBLEMS WITH BULLIES, A LOT OF US SUGGEST YOU DONT TAKE YOU CHILD THERE. It is a really bad school for those kind of those students. They don’t know how to make the student stop bullying others. They also give too much work for the students to make them fail their classes. Parents: It is not worth wasting your time trying to help your student when their just gonna make them fail on purpose. There are a lot of other schools that are better around Huntington Park. Please don’t make you child suffer like how I did with all those problems and meetings.
