I just love this school. As any parent of a middle schooler in broward would know, it is extremely difficult to find a good school. Choosing the wrong school at such a crucial period of a child’s life can be detrimental. Attucks middle school may not look like much on the outside and may not be in a neighborhood that inspires confidence, but inside is a gem of a school.
The teachers are caring and dedicated. The principal and vice principals do such an awesome job working with parents and students.
Attucks middle is a Cambridge magnet (something they are proud of) and academically dedicated. My eighth grader is excelling so well and I cannot be more happy.
If you are looking for a middle school for your kids. Don’t let the exterior fool you, THIS SCHOOL IS AWESOME!
To be honest the staff is rude, the staff get the kids scared. there is a lot of things that happen in this school that you guys are oblivion of even knowing. You guys should check the eight grade bathroom and 7th every now and then just to make sure of things because things happen in there. Example at that dance there where a lot of sexual dances and it wasn’t even funny. Well besides behavioral issues the school has the cleanest environment I have ever seen good job on keeping it clean. 2/5
Went to this school, I’m a junior now. Staff are bullies to many of the students. Threw detention left and right. Was broke af when I was there. Just poor mistreatment of students in general. Many problems, very few good teachers. The few that were good were amazing though, sadly they left the school as well… Not surprised.
