AJA has also been a wonderfully atmosphere for welcoming neurodivergence, crafting bespoke teams of learning specialists, teachers, administrators and parents for each kid to create strategies to ensure academic success beyond anything we had personally imagined. Classroom aides are welcomed into the community with open arms, allowing for specialized support within the mainstream class environment. Its been a recipe for absolute academic excellence, all within a kind and nurturing social/emotional environment.
For Jewish (or Jewish-adjacent!) people, the Judaic education cant be beat. It goes well beyond bar/bat mitzvah readinessthis is a comprehensive curriculum spanning Jewish tradition, liturgy, history, and language. No need for after-hours religious school (and yes, your child will dazzle at their b-mitzvah) so your kids get to spend all that time participating in any number of extracurriculars (sports, arts, academics) that the school offers (in addition to stuff offered conveniently at the J). To us, that education and sense of belonging with the Jewish community is simply something you cant put a price on but if you could, tuition is quite competitive with other area private schools, and they do offer financial assistance, so thats nice too!
I hope well see yall there!!!
