Our children attended this lovely school for several years and created many bonds with the caring teachers and staff. The owners have always gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and heard right from the start. This is a small school with a great big heart. We have personally had experience with both the children’s house and elementary teachers as our 4 children have grown through the years at AMA. The children’s house teacher who nurtured my son through kindergarten was always available to him for support and guidance as he went on into the elementary program. She was also the primary teacher for 2 of my other children and I can not say enough about her incredible patience and love for the children. AMA is very lucky to have her.
My older children adore their elementary teacher. She is a one of a kind Montessorian who truly understands how to guide the students on their own journey.
This school sets the bar high for an authentic Montessori education. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a warm, safe Montessori environment for their children to thrive.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful school. My oldest daughter started here when she was only 2 in the toddler classroom. We noticed immediately how she was beginning to thrive both socially and academically. Since then, we have had two other children enrolled and, when the time comes, my fourth child will also attend. My two oldest children will both be in the elementary classroom next year and they cannot wait for the school year to begin! The school’s incredibly caring, compassionate, and devoted staff not only give the children the tools they need to succeed academically and socially, they also gift them with a love and passion for learning that is inspiring! I have seen many instances where the teachers have gone out of their way to incorporate the children’s interests into their own individual learning experience and this, to me, is remarkable! Being a teacher myself, I can be a bit particular when it comes to my children’s education. I couldn’t be happier with choosing AMA and highly recommend this school.

My 2 children attended Avon Montessori Academy and it’s been the most wonderful experience. The owners and staff are extremely kind, accommodating, and the best Montessori educators we know. This school is an authentic Montessori and my children have thrived in this environment. They love their teachers, the owners & all staff members. The indoor and outdoor classrooms provide a wealth of activity and learning opportunities. My youngest has been through 3 years in the pre-primary classroom with wonderful teachers, and she will start the elementary program in the fall. She continually asks when she gets to go back to school in the summer and on breaks. My 5th grader, graduated from the 1st-3rd grade program at AMA, and transitioned to public school in the 4th grade. Her confidence, love of learning, and academic skills obtained from AMA made the transition flawless. You will not find a better environment or Montessori school in this area. I highly recommend Avon Montessori Academy.
