The first of our 3 children is a 6th grade student this year. Although she started the year with a little apprehension, she quickly discovered why Chilton middle school was fun. The curriculum that the students work through are engaging and spark curiosity. Yes, I know it’s just a public school, but that makes me feel even more appreciative for their efforts. The staff there are passionate in their style of teaching and consistently promote communication with the students as well as the parents through email and/or student homework websites.

Many of the Chilton families are also active in their student(s) education. They show their support for their student(s) by helping with fundraisers, supporting teachers with classroom supplies, sporting events, clubs and other gatherings at Chilton. They know, that the success of each student is a collaborative effort amongst Students, their families and the administration. Their involvement is appreciated by those parents unable to give more of their time.

On to the staff. Let’s not forget about the working bees staff and administrators.. Chilton’s Principal Ancker and Vice Principal Poulsen will never admit to it, but they will and do go above and beyond to help ensure that student life at Chilton is supportive and safe. I guess that’s why my daughter and so many other students arrive 45 min early to school. They aren’t even suppose to arrive that early on campus. They look forward to getting there early every morning. When the staff/administrators realize that students are consistently showing up early, even after notifying parents about campus hours, what do they do next? You’ll see teachers, staff, admins, and even principals arriving a little earlier to campus. Although the kids physically can’t be within the campus gates, you’ll see faculty standing in front engaging in convsersations with students or parents. They help ensure our children’s safety while the kids are waiting for the campus to open its gates. I think that says a lot about this school. They are A+ in my book.

This school is very safe with locked gates. The education is above standard too. Lot’s of diversity if that is what you value. I recommend this middle school and area over any other in Roseville hands down. The Principal is very nice too.

I go to school here and it is amazing. Cant wait till this year. Im going into 7th there. Hope 6th graders get along fine. Cant wait to see two of my friends which r 6th graders.
