I ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL FROM 3RD TO 6TH GRADE. I WAS ON THE BASKETBALL TEAM WHEN I WAS IN 6TH GRADE, A CHEERLEADER AND THE TRACK TEAM. WE WERE THE JETS BACK THEN. MY FAVORITE TEACH WAS MY 6TH GRADE TEACHE MR. T ALSO KNOWN AS MR. TRAVILIAN. I BELIEVE IT WAS 1976 AND THAT IS WHEN THE HOALOHA CLUB WAS FORMED. IT INVOLVED OUR SCHOOL BARBERS POINT (WHICH WAS ONLY MILITARY CHILDREN) AND A LOCAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. WE WOULD HAVE A PAL AND WE WOULD GO ON SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS TOGETHER. THIS ALOUD FOR A BETTER TRANSITION INTO A NEW SCHOOL AND LOCAL PEOPLE WHEN WE GRADUATED TO 7TH GRADE. THE CLUB ALSO CONTINUED THROUGH 7TH AND 8TH AND WE DID REALLY COOL STUFF LIKE PAINTED A MURAL AT ILIMA INTERMEDIATE. (I WONDER IF ITS STILL THERE?)HE WAS NOT ONLY A GOOD TEACHER BUT THE ONE WHO STARTED MY ADVENTURE WITH THE CLARINET. I CONTINUED ON FROM 6TH GRADE TO 7TH AND 8TH AT ILIMA INTERMEDIATE. GREAT MEMORIES.
Went to school here from 1955-1957 while my Dad was stationed at the Navy base. Not good memories about school, first started getting teased & bullied here.
I went here n 1990-1993 while my dad was in the navy, loved the school
