I am a student who goes to this school so it be in your best interest to trust me here. This school is a school that goes beyond limits of the education they teach in public schools and enhances that and creates a brand new foundation that is worth your time. I mean seriously kids are learning algebra so fast in this school and it shows what kids are capable of. The teachers have reserved hours for students to come in and study and ask questions which really shows how strong the teacher and kid relationship is compared to others. It also holds special events that really let the kids socialize with others. But it can be very stressful for students so make sure students are mentally prepared for the long homework nights and study nights. Thus this school is a great school and pushes the boundaries of others.
Terrible executive administration led by individuals with little to no leadership, managerial, or problem-solving skills- mostly incompetent; high staff turnover; low morale among students and staff; some great teachers most of whom receive nearly zero support from adminstration; no consistency or structure on the logistical side of things–lots of talk, little action; and the list goes on, which is too bad for the students
My oldest son started kindergarten this year and we love it. Can’t say enough great things about this school. Teachers, administration, building itself, head of school – everything is superb. Education redefined indeed! Very happy with our decision sending him to Basis and our youngest will start there as well as soon as he is old enough.
