Bay city public schools(at least Western High school) has severely gone down hill in terms of how students are treated. For being an “anti bullying zone” this school is doing nothing to prevent the bullying. A student has very openly threatened not only other students from western but has also threatened foreign exchange students. This was brought to the principals attention and nothing has happened with it yet. This is not the first occurrence of something like this either. I am a student of western and I can fully say I no longer feel safe in that building. Nothing is being done and people are defending the student who is threatening to jump other students and telling them to kill themselves and this student has not only not gotten in trouble, but is also still participating in choir and school sports. I’m tired of feeling like something bad is going to happen any given day at any given time. Up until the last few years I’ve enjoyed bay city public schools but I am getting fed up with how we’re being treated.

YOU NEED TO ENFORCE THE NO CELL PHONE IN CLASS RULES WITH ALL YOUR TEACHERS!!

IT IS DISTRCATING MY STUDENT FROM LEARNING…IM THINKING ABOUT CONTACTED MY ATTORNEY REGARDING THIS, BECUASE IT IS THAT MUCH OF A PROBLEM!!!! MY CHILD IS SUFFERING BECAUSE SHE CANT CONCENTRATE DUE TO LOUD PHONES AND OTHER STUDENTS PLAYING NO THEM DURING LEARNING TIME!!!!

THE TEACHERS NEED TO ENFORCE, IF YOU SEE A PHONE, ITS GONE TILL THE END OF THE DAY!!! I UNDERSTAND KIDS NEED TO TALK WITH THEIR PARENTS, BUT NOT DURING SCHOOL TIME. KIDS DONT RUN THIS SHOW!! WHY DOES A 13 YEAR OLD NEED A CELL THAT CONNECTS TO EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHERS ANYWAYS? SAY NOT TO CELL PHONES AT THIS YOUNG AGE PEOPLE…GEEZE!! YOU WILL GET A STRAIGHT A STUDENT…BET!

Handy Middle School : The police officer puts her hands on kids leaving bruises and writes false police reports while the school looks the other way they say there against bullying but they support and pitty the ones doing the bullying last year a student fought one of the staff members the same staff member that lied to my face about taking my daughters belongings until she saw my kids stuff was right there in plain sight on her desk in better words choose a different school before they ruin your child there words are trash and they do nothing to protect our kids!
