It was a huge mistake sent my boy to this school in Pakenham. The boy went to year 7, within 6 months he turn from sweet kind to bitter and nasty, he has become less happy. There are a lot of emotional and physical bully in the school. I read in the review, other parents has same issue. My neighbour kid of similar age in year 6 goes to Berwick beaconsfield College, we watch him turn from nice kid to an angry boy over period of 1 year. 30 percent of kids in this school experience bullying according to survey. Way above VIC average of 12 percent. Students in this school are not kind and they keep hurt each other, and school does very little to change the culture. If you love your kids, DO NOT send your kids to this school after year 5. Don’t think because it’s a paying school, it will be better in anyway. This school is way below average publicly school in VIC in both culture and teaching result. What they teach in year 5 is what other public school teaches in year 4. The vce result in 2023 only 10 subjects got 40 out of 50 1.7percent. Can’t find any lower than that in any school around. Even berwick secondary college the public school got 3 times higher. Thanks God now my son is in st margret for 6 months now. He is back to his normal kind self. Kids at year 7 to 10 need a good peer group more than any other age.

Tragedy will happen soon. An American Staffordshire Terrier on the grounds (parent’s animal). Incredible! Some students are 6 years old they dont know how to protect themselves.

I can not express this strongly enough – DO NOT send your children to Beaconhills in Pakenham. Middle school (5-8) has a horrible culture of meanness and bullying, and absolutely nothing is done by the school to address these issues or improve the student behaviour. If your child is physically hurt or bullied, the school’s response is absolutely pathetic. They essentially tell the victim that they don’t believe them, and just accept it when the offending students deny or minimise their behaviour. There are no consequences for bad behaviour, so the bad behaviour continues and escalates. The quality of teaching is also sub standard, especially when you are paying $10,000 a year for your child to attend. The teachers do not communicate with the parents, and are not responsive when you try to contact them. You constantly get told as a parent to raise all concerns through the Head of House, however they just don’t respond to you. The school does a fantastic job of promoting itself, but it is honestly all propaganda. This school is terrible. I can not caution you enough – do not send your children here.

When i first saw this school i’m like this is amazing and when i went for the tour in the Pakenham Campus. Everyone was very nice and all the staff and students.

Constant bullying, assaults, damage to the school by students. Punishment? Nope. Just turn a blind eye or worse, when reported, they believe the aggressor and not the kid that’s been hurt. Let’s victimise a child a second time and teach them that the bully always wins. I fear for the future if this school is the norm. Do not send your child there!!
