I am very disappointed that different students do not get to showcase their talent for the plays. It is unfair that the same student is selected when there are others who want the part. Kids need the opportunity to build their self-esteem and this is not Broadway.
The teachers and school are top notch. I give it a 1 star because my son goes here and it has affected him because he missed the opportunity to participate in the play. The same pupil is selected year after year (since kindergarten to currently 3rd grade) as the main character part. I don’t blame the student but give other kids a chance.
The Spanish immersion program is only as good as the teachers. Our child went thru it and we were very disappointed. There is no teacher accountability other than getting ready and stressing the kids about the “big test”. This only makes the children very nervous and set them up for failure. The school used to be good but since about 3 years ago there was a real change. Now it seems no one cares about the kids anymore. How sad…
