Since my son has been going to this nursery he is more verbal. I am seeing he is learning to share. He has also taken up an interest to use the potty without assistance. I noticed he is more independent and finally eating properly.
The staff are professional and friendly. They communicate and tell you what your child has done for the day and give advice on what things that can improve their behavior.
Since joining Beechwood nursery school my husband and I are very happy with our daughter’s development.
From being a quite shy little girl she has transformed into a confident, balanced child who looks forward to nursery every day.
We can honestly say the care and attention from staff has aided her development and encouraged her to blossom into a strong independent, free- thinking child. I thank the hardworking cheerful staff for their contribution in my daughter’s education and can whole heartedly say; as she starts another stage of her life (big girl school) we will treasure the memories, and will definitely recommend the nursery to all parents.
Very good nursery with good facilities and staffs, they are very polite and professional.
Do not even attempt this nursery! Ever since my son started he’s always been sick each week he’s goes in! The staff are very unorganised and have a lack of communication skills and they eat the kid’s foods. The nursery hygiene is not acceptable, having my child smelling of piss and why is he wearing someone else nappies when I’ve supplied them with wipes and a lot of nappies? They take long to answer the door and then say they’re short staffed when parents are waiting outside in the cold with their kids. I’ve even had to call to say I’m outside can you open the door, please? Since my child started the nursery he always comes home with a cold, also they don’t clean the kid’s noses properly. The staff are always leaving their job positions, how can you not know who the manager is. Then you tell me the next day you are a manager. I can’t believe this nursery! They take 4 weeks to complete a form and that is very slow. I really don’t understand how staff don’t know There position one minute there a teacher, then there the manager! And they bring there own kids there to while working. Security is not good as my son was picked up without a password and they never seen the person before. My son had an incident there and they said my two year old boy is rough, how dare they when my son does not know his strength.
The staff charge there phones in the children classes, near there toys what if they found the plug socket. This was when I was settling my son and witness this and play on there phones. I can name the staff and I have written there names down for ofsted. My child now will be attending a private nursery after this experience and I’ve reported this to ofsted. Even the staff members said to me they can’t wait to leave and some have attitude in there. One time I’ve came to pick up my son and they told me he’s in his class and he wasn’t and I was worried running around and know one helped me look for him until someone found him outside with a staff member! They take long to open the door when they know parents have work or college and then they wanna say they don’t have enough staff. All this nursery causes is stress and worries they shouldn’t be open and I hope ofsted puts them in the news papers ! I’m a happy to name and shame the staff I’ve got all there names written down.
An amazing place to take your children the staff are lovely and caring and the children are always put first. The building is lovely and big with plenty of space. I worked here for a few years and was one of the best places i have worked, the children learn so much and are well prepared for when they leave to go to school, i would give this more then 5 stars the admin staff always respond to emails right away and the communcation is always active.
