Some teachers are exceptions, but the overall structure of the school is discriminatory. I was placed with Special Ed students because I was in Foster Care, had to wear different shaded clothes from my peers because the school refused to let me wear a matching uniform without the logo, and students were seperated into gendered classes and our appearances were monitored and controlled (an example being that boys could not grow hair long enough to touch their shoulders). The school can do nothing about its bullying because its built into the overall structure of the school.
On my year five now and the past years are horrible teachers annoying, classmates pain in the butt and it feels like prison. Their too many fight in all of 2022 and it’s all the same kids fighting. And in 2023 a kid brought a vape and hit it infront of the school and he was in year 4! The only good thing is their no bullying, at lease of the past like 2 years. And the little amount of “art” in the boys bathroom is funny.
Kids literally fight in the toilets and swear and screaming you can hear it from the library my little boy comrs home to scared to tell me what’s happening as the teachers only threaten to take the bad kids to the office no action is taken sloppy teachers lots of kids running around during class lost and or get up to no good.
Absolute lost cause of a school only went down hill this year in opinion but who knows how horrible it was before I noticed
My daughter went here from prep to grade 2. She is adhd and before she was medicated was off too a rough start. She was medicated half way through prep but was still put in the too hard pile. We were promised by the principal multiple times that she would be given help and put into clubs to help with the social aspect because she was struggling but they never followed through. She experienced and incredulous amount of bullying at this school. She was scratched, hit, had her hair pulled. At one point she was even pushed down a hill by students in an older grade. If you suspect the school did nothing about it, then you are right. She is in grade 6 now and has had minimal issues at the school she’s been going too. Her main issue is she’s talkative. She’s experience very miniscule amounts of bullying since leaving this school and has been thriving.
Worst school in queensland, kids fighting in toilets.swearing houso parents, drugs being dealt out front by parents in one year my child has been stabbed beside his eye in class gets sent home for defending himself .they put kids in the special ed program to easy and the teacher Mr Renalds is retarded and spits in your face as he talks .do not put ur kids here
