My daughter was happy with her 5th grade teacher and was doing expectionally well. BUT now she’s unhappy, confused, and hysterical because this school decided it needed another teacher. My daughter is fairly new to the school and she’s still adjusting; she’s also had some issues with other students bullying her (in which my meeting with the principle indicated that it was not on file, then proceeded to insure me the bully was not in her class) basically he and the assistant principle lied to me and blew smoke up my you know what when it came to my concerns of my daughters class being changed.
They also decided that the best way to tell the children their class was being change is to tap them on the shoulder, notify them of the change, and ask them to sit on stage. I just so happen to be having lunch with my daughter that day and witness this myself. All those kids were on stage hysterically crying, trying to hide their faces from the fact that they were asked to sit on a stage in front of hundreds of their peers!
I couldn’t believe how poorly this was conducted by a principle who has a doctorate degree.
Dear Belle Terre Elementary school..You deserve whatever backlash you get from this!
When i was in 1st grade i was told i couldnt use the restroom and i peed my pants in my seat it was horrifyingly ambarrassing .I did not have medical issues i simply had to pee.
Do you ever have to pee? Do you know its very unhealthy to hold it? This should NEVER happen to any child EVER. It is outrageous that our school system is supposed to protect , nurture and lead our children to be educated, , caring adults..It is outrageous that you would not only allow this but create any excuse for doing this! You should be ashamed of yourselves and whoever had this brilliant idea and whoever else was to cowardly to stand up for this child and went along with this should not be working with children or elderly and certainly not a child that has any medical issues as you lack compassion and knowledge..Wow i am beyond mortified that you are allowed to teach children at all!
I personally would not send my child to a school who did not address the personal needs of a child who was forced to soil herself in class, failed to contact the parents when the incident happened, and also made her continue with school wearing only a t-shirt and panties, sending her home on the bus to jeers, mocking, and harassment.

I do not know why the school singled this little 6 year old girl out to berate, but this does not sound like a policy I would like my child subjected to. They stripped her of more than her clothes – they took her dignity, her trust, and her safety (sending a little girl out into the public in a t-shirt and underwear – thank goodness her parents were waiting for her at the bus stop!!!).
